About the Programme
As part of the National Reading Day celebrations, the NSS Unit No. 02 of the College of Applied Science (IHRD), Vattamkulam organized a literary discussion programme titled "Vadmychitram" on 19 June 2026 at the College Seminar Hall.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, students and faculty members. The discussion focused on the importance of reading in personal development, knowledge enhancement and the cultivation of critical thinking skills.
Participants shared their reading experiences, discussed the influence of books on society and reflected on the role of literature in shaping values, perspectives and lifelong learning habits.
